Marie is responsible for oversight of policies and procedures for all financial functions, along with strategic and succession planning. Since joining Primax in 1995, Marie has been instrumental in the successful completion of over a thousand projects in 34 different states, as well as 25 projects that are currently under development. Marie is a repeat mentor for the Charlotte Business Journal’s Mentoring Monday event and other mentor programs. Marie has served on the boards of Girl Scout, Hornets’ Nest Council and Commercial Real Estate Women, holding many officer and co-chair positions. She is a Past President for the CREW Charlotte chapter and holds leadership roles with the National CREW organization. She serves as a member of the Audit Committee and Property Committee for the Girl Scouts – Hornet’s Nest Council. She is involved in the Making Strides against Breast Cancer and the Primax Pink Warrior Team, the 3rd largest fundraising team in the US in 2017. Marie has received numerous leadership awards including being recognized a 2017 North Carolina Women’s History Month Leadership in Action Award winner by Career Mastered. Marie earned her accounting degree from North Carolina State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Marie enjoys fishing, golf, reading and riding the trails in her Razor with her husband and daughter.
