As we embrace the winter calendar, I am reminded of the depth of what it truly means to experience winter, spring, summer, and fall.
Each season has its own soul of light, temperature, and weather patterns that repeat yearly outside and around us. Seasons are interwoven into the fabric of our human lives, both in terms of our own spirituality and how we engage with others.
Profoundly, every soul goes through seasons, just like the seasons within a calendar year. Maybe where you live, you don’t encounter every season outside, but your soul does on the inside. Like seasons, our souls are designed to transition, to change and to vary.
The lesson for all of us is that we too have seasons in our lives and each has its purpose. While one person may be in a time of spring renewal and growth, someone else may be in a winter season, dealing with challenges and pain.
For our cover story, we caught up with Jasmine Crowe, a woman who is seasoning the soul of many who might be in the winter season of their lives.
In our exclusive interview, we learned that as CEO of Goodr, she connects businesses that have surplus food to nonprofit organizations and people who need it. Jasmine’s story is rich with seasoning and we’re glad to share it with you.
