Arvis S. Williams is the Global Vice President, Quality, Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering LEAN & Opex at BorgWarner. She brings extensive expertise in quality assurance, program oversight, and manufacturing processes within the automotive industry.
At BorgWarner, Arvis provides leadership in quality and program management. Their background includes serving as Global Executive VP, Quality, Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence at Dura Automotive Systems, where they focused on enhancing quality control and driving operational efficiency. Prior to that, Arvis held the position of Global Director of Launch and Tooling at Dura.
During their tenure at FCA Group, Arvis served as Head of Center in Advance Stamping Manufacturing Engineering Model (ASME). Earlier in their career with FCA Group, she held positions as Senior Manager, Manufacturing, Manager, Plant Operations, and Manager, LEAN, Launch & Quality. Her work history includes General Motors, where they served as a LEAN Advisor & Production Superintendent, Engineering Manager, and Manufacturing & Tooling Engineer.
Her early experience includes serving as a Manufacturing Specialist at Toyota Motor Corporation, where they addressed manufacturing, tooling, and quality challenges. She applied waste elimination methodologies established in the Toyota Production System, focusing on quality through standardized work.
Arvis holds a master’s degree from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree.
