When you walk through the doors of BasBlue, the relaxed ambiance, vibrant interior design, and the scent of toasted cinnamon greet you along with hospitable people. It has quickly become a home away from home for local entrepreneurs, artisans, educators, and thought leaders.
Founded in 2021, BasBlue is housed in a Victorian-style mansion on 110 East Ferry Street in Detroit, Michigan. The brainchild of business leader Nancy Tellem and Nike executive Natacha Hildebrand, BasBlue is a nonprofit organization that creates pathways and opens doors for women and non-binary individuals. It does this by fostering connection and discovery through a diverse, inclusive space and culture.
