Letter From the Publisher: Embrace Your Season of Success!

Success is defined differently by each of us, and rightfully so. Whatever your vision is of success —walk in it, sister! As I reflect on this holiday season, I am more than grateful for the successes I’ve had in just this year alone (not to mention across the course of my lifetime).

From the successful Career Mastered Women’s Leadership Summit & Awards held in Atlanta this year to the continued leadership my team and I have shown by supporting and recognizing more than 400 plus women and girls over the course of almost 10 years, we’ve been resilient since the idea and concept of Career Mastered was created. Today and in this season, I’m embracing every aspect of what success looks and feels like to me. So how are you embracing your season of success? Are you sharing and celebrating it with the world?

For me, I think it is important to not sit by your success and instead continue next leveling by taking the time to reset and refocus.

In this issue of Career Mastered Magazine, we spoke with our cover girl, Molly Grantham, who makes success look so easy while juggling a busy life as an evening news anchor with WBTV a CBS Affiliate station in Charlotte, a mother of three, an award-winning author and the list goes on and on. We’ve also penned articles on navigating work politics, goal setting strategies for 2024, how to reclaim your time, winter activities for your leisure, plus as always, we provide you with the latest on financial literacy, winter looks and books to love. Career Mastered is turning 10 in 2024, and we’re pumped about our celebration plans. Here’s how you lean in right away…

Be sure to nominate a deserving woman for the 2024 Career Mastered Awards and follow us on social media to ensure you are the first to learn about the details of our 10th Anniversary Celebration, which will be held in the city where it all began: Detroit, May 15-16, 2024. We wish you the merriest of holidays and a joyous new year!
