Voices of Women Leaders & Allies Converging to Shape the Future of Influence, Power, and Connection
In an era where leadership is being redefined in real time, the 12th National Career Mastered® Women’s History Leadership and Allies Summit & Awards served as a living laboratory for what executive presence and purpose-driven leadership truly look like in action. Held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Ayrsley, the gathering was more than a convening—it was a convergence of influence, intellect, and intention.
From early morning registration to the closing celebration, every moment of the summit reinforced a central truth: leadership today is not only about position; it is about presence, connection, experience, and the ability to move people and systems forward.
A Morning of Connection, Access, and Opportunity
The day opened with immersive experiences designed to mirror the modern leadership ecosystem. The Talent Meets Marketplace, interactive beauty lounge, and executive coaches corner, created a dynamic environment where networking was not incidental; it was intentional.
Women leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and allies engaged in real-time dialogue about advancement, visibility, and the evolving nature of professional influence. The atmosphere reflected a new leadership currency: access through authentic connection.
Setting the Tone: Conscious Leadership and the Power of Influence
The ICONIC TRACK opened with remarks and a keynote address from Talia Fox, CEO of Kusi Global Inc. and author of The Power of Conscious Connections. Her message centered on leadership rooted in awareness, intentionality, and relational intelligence.
The conversation underscored a critical shift in executive leadership: success is no longer defined solely by achievement, but by the ability to cultivate meaningful, trust-based networks that elevate others while advancing collective impact.
The Currency of Connection in Career Success
The Career Mastered “Inside Career Success Show” hosted by Cortney Hicks, Media Personality, expanded the dialogue, positioning relationships as the new professional currency. Leaders examined how visibility, strategic connection-building, and narrative ownership now determine career mobility as much as performance itself.
This was further amplified in the session on Power, Visibility & AI, which explored how executive presence now extends into digital identity. Leaders discussed how artificial intelligence, branding, and online visibility intersect to shape opportunity pipelines, reputation management, and leadership reach.
Moments of Wisdom and Resilience
A defining highlight of the morning was the Career Mastered Moment featuring Gloria Mayfield Banks, whose message of resilience, confidence, and sustained excellence resonated deeply across generations of women leaders.
Her insights reinforced a recurring theme of the summit: executive presence is not performative—it is cultivated through discipline, mindset, and consistent self-definition.
Advancing Women to the C-Suite
In the session on Mastering a Path to the C-Suite, executive leaders engaged in an unfiltered dialogue on mentorship, sponsorship, and succession planning. The conversation highlighted both progress and persistent gaps in leadership pipelines for women.

Voices Across Industries, United in Purpose
Throughout the summit, the presence of senior leaders across sectors reinforced the breadth of influence in the room.
Executives Rasheca Barrows from Fifth Third Bank and Natalie Brown from Ally Financial contributed to conversations on leadership and organizational transformation. Reggie Willis, Ally Financial, Simon Boag, ARO Homes, Ken Monroe, Bcheck, and Eric Watson, brought a perspective on innovation and ally accountability in modern business ecosystems.
Corporate and board leaders including Karen Hong of Continental, Terri Zanhuis (formerly of Krispy Kreme), Kiff Ford of ITC Holdings, Lottie Holland and Teresa Thiele of Stellantis, Elissa Mahendra of Dynamic Talent Leaders, and Nicole Harris of Lexus added critical depth to discussions on workforce strategy, leadership pipelines, and enterprise transformation
Together, these voices reflected a shared commitment: building organizations where leadership is both inclusive and future ready.
The Power of Story: Soledad O’Brien Fireside Chat
The Awards Ceremony that followed honored women whose leadership exemplifies excellence, courage, and sustained impact across industries.
Redefining Power in 2026
Later sessions, including Invisible No More: The New Rules of Power in 2026, challenged leaders to rethink visibility, influence, and narrative control in a rapidly evolving world.
Discussions on men changing the game, women on boards, and intergenerational leadership reinforced an essential truth: leadership today is collaborative, not hierarchical.
Closing Reflection: Leadership as Legacy
The summit concluded with a call to action on women serving at the next level—on boards, in executive suites, and in global decision-making spaces. The final networking and reflection period allowed attendees to internalize a shared understanding: leadership is not a moment, but a movement.
As the day closed, one message remained clear across every conversation, panel, and interaction:
Executive presence is no longer about being seen in the room—it is about shaping the room itself.
And in that space, voices of women and ally leaders did more than speak. They aligned, activated, and advanced a collective future of purpose-driven leadership.
