Summer Music Playlist For Overcoming The Blues

BY: Candice Crear

Meetings, meetings, meetings. Ahh! Working in a virtual environment can be overwhelming. Often, you’re not able to take a break, let alone eat lunch without interruption. With an increase in responsibilities, changes in the community, and juggling your kids and significant other, sometimes you just need a mental escape. Music is that escape. Intently being wrapped in a song can take you from your current circumstance, to a party on a beach in Santa Barbara. Being aware of your mental health needs is critical to your self-care. Like the flight attendant says, you must put your mask on before assisting others.
