If you have a group of girls that are rockin with you through ups and downs, count yourself blessed! Having a girl tribe is essential to our mental health in every season of our life. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. In case you need another excuse to hang out with your crew, here are several reasons why your girl tribe is key to your mental health.
Help with personal growth. Your tribe will be your personal sounding board through work and relationship decisions. They will allow you to vent, but won’t leave you there. Your tribe will stay around for the regrouping and will be your safe space during times of challenge.
Improve your selfconfidence and self-worth. Who doesn’t need someone to make them feel good about themselves sometimes? Your tribe can give you that push to go beyond what you see to become all the bigger version of what they know you have in you. They will encourage you to step out on faith and stretch to be the best version of you.

Provide support. This life is guaranteed to throw some curveballs and your girl tribe will be essential in your recovery. They are going to tap into their individual roles in your life and give you the support you need to get on the other side of your situation. #girlpower
Social Belonging. Sometimes you may want to go where everybody knows your name and gets you. With your girl tribe, you can just “be”. No expectations, no thinking, just relaxing and chill time. Your tribe is going to give you that space to do nothing when you’re needing a reset.
Enrichment. Each girl in your group will have their own identity, goals and talents. With that comes collaboration and insight. Your tribe will keep you balanced and offer different experiences, support and resources to make you better. You all will lean on each other and be a force to be reckoned with!
Camaraderie/Fellowship. You have to love a good friend gang to roll out with you wherever. Your tribe should consist of women you like to be around for almost any occasion, whether that’s vacations, road trips, spa days or a girls’ night in and out. Life happens fast so make sure your tribe takes the time to enjoy fun moments together.
When you are vibing with your tribe, be a sounding board and best girl friend support. We are definitely better together. You never know who in your tribe may need what in each season of your relationship so make every encounter count and be the tribe member you want to see you in your girl gang!
